What are we doing?

Who are we?

We are the Schëfflenger Scouten, part of Luxembourg Scouts and Guides. We offer outdoor adventures for ages 7+, ending with a camp each year. Our mission is to help youth to take responsibility in an inclusive environment where everyone can participate and share ideas!

What are we doing?

For Me, For You, For Us, For Everyone

In a group setting, each member can enjoy enriching experiences, forge lasting friendships, develop social skills and grow personality. At LGS, young people learn to respect nature, reflect on themselves and their surroundings, which enables them to stand up for themselves and others.

What are we doing?

Adventure

At LGS, we prioritize adventure and outdoor activities. Our goal is to provide young people with a refreshing break from their daily routines and to inspire their sense of exploration. To achieve this, we organize a wide range of group activities in the great outdoors.

What are we doing?

Creative, Innovative, Diverse

We are doing only outdoor activities. Our goal are to bring the kids the joy working together, making new friendships, learning new skills and making a lot of adventures. All of this with learning by doing. Kids explore, discover and learn out of their experiences.

What are we doing?

Learning By Doing

The Learning by Doing method stands in contrast to formal learning and the transmission of pure theory. It is a practical approach that encourag es young people to independemily explore new things and gather new experiences. This helps alleviate their fear of the unknown, showing them that making mistakes is part of the learning process and can lead to valuable insights.
